Gennaro’s Surf & Turf started with a simple idea: bring people together over well-made food.
What began as a passion for fresh seafood and perfectly cooked steaks grew into a neighborhood favorite, a place where families celebrate, where friends catch up, and where every guest is treated like part of the table.
We never wanted to cut corners or chase trends. We just wanted to do things right. That kind of care builds trust. First-time visitors became regular and regulars became family. Along the way, we kept refining our recipes and paying attention to the little details, because those details matter. They’re what turn a meal into a memory.
Today, that same passion still guides everything we serve. From the ingredients we choose to the warmth we bring to every table, it’s all part of who we are.
I am Amber Bischoff and I am the Executive Chef here at Gennaro’s Surf & Turf. Growing up mostly in NE, I was surrounded by food from many cultures within my family heritage. Getting to create my own concept and to be a part of this new chapter with Gennaros, both leading and developing, really has continued to give me purpose and knowing that the best is yet to come.
A few of my signature dishes that we will be serving her at Gennaro’s will be the fried eggplant that represents my upbringing with my grandparents. My grandfather before passing really inspired me to never settle and cook with my heart. Skies the limits. The spare ribs I feel also represent my passion for smoked BBQ and my culture over the years living and working in Texas.
Of course the buttercake is my third and last I promise. That is another recreated concept I took with me from the many times I went and worked hand and hand with PMC Marketing and Rosewood Farms. Sweet, subtle and memorable.
Every great meal starts in the kitchen. Our chefs bring years of experience, a deep love for quality ingredients and an eye for detail to every plate. From perfectly seared steaks to fresh seafood specialties, they cook with care. That’s why every dish that leaves the kitchen is one worth coming back for!
